In 2001, he went back to his native land of Cuba to become a Santero and he began to do Consultations and Readings. While working his regular jobs, he was also able to help those in need from the comfort of their home. As time went on in 2004, they opened the Botanica, Los Milagros Del Lukumi at 649 10th Street East, Palmetto, Florida 34221. From that day forward, he established an enormous clientele, which includes godchildren. That’s why as of today, he is known as Padrino in this small and humble establishment.
In 2011, Rolando “Yoyi, the machine of Judo” Rodriguez, from El Cotorro, Havana, Cuba, became a Babalawo, (In the Cuban religion Santeria, Orula (also called Ifa, Orunmila, and Orula)) which consists of the seven African powers. In 2014, Rolando “Yoyi” increased his studies as a Babalawo, which allowed him to excel and to move into greater dimensions of the religion and, to be able to help hundreds of thousands of people. Along the way with his helper “Apeterbi” Marla Rodriguez known as “Madrina.” |
